Why it works with children
There is a swimming pool and a separate, smaller pool for children. There is a sandy beach on the lake shore. And there is a fire on the sand in the evening, which occupies children who have been told all day to be careful.
The crossing itself is worth mentioning to children in advance. For most of them it is the best part, and it turns the journey from something to be endured into the start of the holiday.
