The wedding belongs to everyone who came. This part belongs to the two of you.
A honeymoon here works because getting to the island is just difficult enough to feel like leaving, and because once you are here there is nothing you are obliged to do.
Where to stay
The Brovad Suite is the room for this. A master bedroom with a separate lounge, a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, and a balcony over Lake Victoria. On a stay of more than two nights the separate sitting room stops being a luxury and starts being the reason the days feel unhurried.

How to spend it
The pattern that works is to do one thing a day and nothing else. The water in the morning of one day. The spa on the afternoon of another. Dinner outside on the night you are least tired. Everything in between is the pool, the beach, and long stretches of doing nothing at all.
